Open Circle's ministry supports individual growth and wholeness in body, mind, and spirit so that in coming together we can pursue peace, justice, compassion and sustainability in the creation of Beloved Community.

Sunday Worship/Programs

Worship at Open Circle is a celebration of life, beauty and grace. It is an opportunity to explore together what is true and just, what matters and what doesn't. As the origin of the word implies, worship is a time to attend to what is worthy. In worship we journey together toward wholeness.

Sunday programming at Open Circle is diverse in both content and format. As a small, partly lay-led congregation, we offer what might be called a "traditional worship service" - including music, hymns, readings, sharing of joys and concerns, and sermon.

On some Sundays the format is more educational (a guest presenter speaking on a social justice issue or sharing from teachings of a world religion) or perhaps a discussion relevant to our life together in community.
