Each year we bring a sample of water from our summer activities to mingle together for our welcome back ritual. This year, as we describe the source of our water, also include how that water is connected to love: love of others, love of nature, love of wonder and awe, love of rejuvenation, etc. This spiritual exercise reminds us how much of our life is centered in love.
Note! This Sunday's "Share the Plate" goes to Ebony Vision. All cash collected and checks written out to Ebony Vision will be donated to them.
Are you interested in joining a UU Book Group discussion this next church year? Would you like to suggest a book to read and discuss? Then please meet after church service to ask questions, share ideas, talk about books and select titles. We’ll start Book Group officially in October. Jane Dennis (920) 579-3067 or Susanne Dennis at susannekaydennis@gmail.com can answer questions.
WOW! Women of Wisdom will be meeting every 2nd & 4th Mondays at Open Circle 10 AM to Noon. Coffee/tea will be provided. (Donations of the same are appreciated). All women are invited to attend!

Have you ever shared something deeply personal with someone and found that they too have had that experience? Suddenly you have a deeper understanding of one another. Sharing our vulnerability is always an invitation for others to share their truths and in doing so we see that we are not alone.

O Ye of Little Faith?
Some people refer to Unitarian Universalists as people of little faith. Even some UUs themselves do. Our guest minister, Tony Larsen, believes they are wrong, and he hopes to show us why. In a way, this Sunday's sermon will be an invitation to our "faith"!
Bio: Rev. Dr. Tony Larsen recently retired from being the minister at Unitarian Church North in Mequon for 4 years. Before that he served 42 years at Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church in Racine. Tony studied to be a Catholic priest for 10 years before switching to the UU ministry.
After Service, we will start our GOTV postcards to stamp and fill out between now and Oct. 16: One set of 400 to prepare and mail for the Citizens Climate Lobby and another set of 500 to prepare and mail for WUUSAN which will be sent to voters who are part of demographic groups that tend to have lower voting rates. Please watch for more postcard signing dates at Open Circle in the coming weeks.

Invite a Friend to Open Circle - Sunday
Rev. Jim plans to give a message focused on three questions:
- What do UUs believe?
- What is Open Circle about?
- Why would you want to come to our camp?
An ideal service to introduce friends to our congregation, so be sure to invite your friends to Camp Open Circle!
